The concert went really well and didn't finish until 10pm. The combination of trumpet and piano went superbly and the audience appeared to enjoy the performances.

WYCOMBE ORPHEUS MALE VOICE CHOIR ANNUAL CONCERT MAY 23rd 2026
Wycombe’s All Saints Parish Church played host to this year’s Orpheus Annual Concert. Promoted as “Voices and Brass” this year the Orpheus teamed with award-winning Amersham Band to thrill an audience of over 100 with a wide-ranging mix of musical treats.
Orpheus songs included well-known pop and show favourites, as well as more traditional Male Voice standards including one in Welsh! The band showed its versatility with roof-raising pieces along with items that showcased the high standard of musicianship from individual band members.
The first half finished with an emotional joint number The Mansions of the Lord, a moving tribute to veterans of past conflicts and chosen for its relevance to the chosen Charity of the evening, the Blind Veterans Association. The Charity Appeal by BVA’s Alan Parker resulted in donations in a retiring collection approaching £500.
The evening was rounded off with two singalong items, Sweet Caroline and Thank You for the Music – giving the audience their chance to give voice to round off a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
The Orpheus is proud to have been able to support BVA in this way.
