Musical Director and Accompanist

Louise LangleyMusical Director - Louise Langley LRAM

Louise has been directing the Orpheus since 2003 and her unstinting dedication to the Choir along with her superb musical abilities ensure that the Choir continues to flourish.

Her passion for music and performance began at a very early age and her extensive talents include teaching, coaching, solo performance and acting. She continues to play a major role in the musical life of High Wycombe and the surrounding areas.

Alongside her Orpheus commitment, Louise is also Musical Director of Downley Descants, a thriving community choir. She is also choir mistress at St. Joseph’s Priory, Chalfont St. Peter, and accompanist for the Chiltern W I Singers.

The Wycombe Orpheus Choir’s popularity and acclaim is a credit to her unique sense of professionalism, patience and charm!

Megan is 18 years old and is currently in Year 13 at Wycombe High School. There she studies Music, English and History at A Level and is heavily involved in the music department along with many other extra curricular music activities.

She is going on to study piano at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music in London this September, but in the meantime thoroughly enjoys accompanying the Orpheus and is very grateful for the opportunities the Choir has given her.
